Three unbeatens walked into Week 3. Only three walked out — because the other two got knocked off in head-to-head showdowns that had Rutgers Prep buzzing.

Men's Gold Division — Sunday, June 28

Bearcats 94, Club Passion 69. The Bearcats are 3-0 and it's not close. Tied 43-43 midway through, they detonated for a 58-point second half behind Player of the Game Adetokunbo Bakare, who poured in 30 with five threes. Shawn Summers Jr. (19) and Noah Harris (17) kept the run rolling. Club Passion got 24 from Brandon Yale and 19 from Joseph Capone but is still hunting win No. 1.

Misfits 85, RU 74. Ray Zamloot was a one-man heat wave — 30 points and six threes to take Player of the Game honors as the Misfits moved to 2-1. Daniel Yarus added 16 and Terrance Wood owned the glass with 11 boards. Alex Douglas (21), Jared White and Matthew Slaby (19 apiece) kept RU in it, but the Misfits never blinked.

Scari McDonalds 79, Flint Tropics 63. Make it two straight for Scari. Player of the Game Jakari Spence stuffed the sheet with 22 points and 7 assists, Larry Smith matched him with 22, and Tyrel Davis double-doubled (10 and 11). Dareyus Valencia (26) and Gage Daye (22) fought for Flint, but a 22-point Tropics second half sealed it.

Mudita Rec 75, PTR 67. First win, and it was earned. Player of the Game Andrew Martin scored 18, Bryan Yu buried four threes for 13, and Josiah King chipped in 12 as Mudita held off every PTR push. Thomas Johnson (18) and Mario Gunn (17) led a PTR squad that now sits 1-2 after opening the year one bucket from beating RU.

The Turnover Bakery had the bye.

Women's Division — Sunday, June 28

Prime Time 59, Splash Sisters 38. The battle of 2-0s turned into a statement. Player of the Game Amanda Carney — who opened the season with a record eight threes — splashed seven more on the way to 27 points, and Erika Jones stuffed a 17-point, 11-rebound line with five triples of her own. Danaejah Grant battled for 20 and 9, but Prime Time is your last unbeaten in the Women's Division at 3-0.

Troublemakers 74, Lady Lions 61. Briana Lee is officially a problem. The Player of the Game erupted for 31 points and 14 rebounds — the top scoring night of the week — while Rachel Kuhl (16) and Faith Ashby (13 and 5 assists) piled on. Cassidy Brown scored 20 and Brooke McFadden double-doubled (12 and 12) for the Lady Lions, but the Troublemakers' 44-point first half was too big a hole.

Ballsohard 75, Lords of the Rim 66. First win for Ballsohard, and a balanced one — Player of the Game Mahogany Jenkins went 14-15-5 (points-boards-assists) while Arianna McCleod (15), Aiya Underwood (12) and Olivia Nilsen (12) all hit double figures. Gabrielle Ziegenbalg's 23 with six threes and Isabella Curanovic's 18-12-4-block masterpiece kept the Lords close, but Ballsohard closed every gap.

Avengers 60, SheHoop 54. A ten-point unanswered run swung it. Player of the Game Katie Hill led the way with 17 and Nicole Metzel double-doubled (11 and 11) as the Avengers won their second straight. Quorea Pearyer (18 with four threes) and Wakeemah Sawyer (17) gave SheHoop plenty of punch — the wins are coming.

Willy P had the bye.

Men's Silver Division — Wednesday, July 1

Blog images-Jul-02-2026-04-41-07-5732-PM

New Jersey Buckets 73, Beach Boyz 67. Two unbeatens, one winner. Player of the Game Kadian Dawkins hit four threes for 23, with Sincere Williams (19) and Yvelt Exil (17) backing him up as the Buckets moved to 3-0. Brandon Sessoms was spectacular in the loss — 33 points, the week's high in any division — and Sammy Cruz Jr. hauled in 17 rebounds to tie the season single-game record. Beach Boyz nearly stole it with a 46-point second half.

Team Select 89, Pro Ballers 78. Win No. 1 for Team Select, powered by the stat line of the week: Player of the Game Brandon Steward dished a season-record 15 assists to go with 14 points and 8 boards. Daniel De Jesus scored 24, and Jared Pearson and Jaquan Pearyer added 21 each. Jayden Pearyer's 31 led a hard-luck Pro Ballers side that falls to 0-3.

Fast Break 67, 732ers 61. Jordan Summers earned Player of the Game with a 30-point, 11-rebound double-double, hitting four threes, while Camron Summers added 17 as Fast Break won its second straight. Louis Crozier went for 21 and 10 for the 732ers in a game that stayed tight to the wire.

Standouts of the Week

Men's Gold — Adetokunbo Bakare (Bearcats). 30 points and five threes in a 94-point rout. The Bearcats are the last perfect team in Gold, and Bakare is the engine.

Women's — Briana Lee (Troublemakers). 31 points, 14 rebounds, and the Troublemakers' second straight statement win. She now leads the division in steals, too.

Men's Silver — Brandon Steward (Team Select). 14 points, a season-record 15 assists, and 8 rebounds to deliver his team's first win. Near triple-double in a rec league. Come on.
