Game Recaps Summer '26 Basketball Jul 25, 2026 12:00:50 PM Team Showtime 8 min read

Fifty-one. That's how many points Jordan Summers hung on the 732ers to close the Silver regular season — the season's best individual scoring night — while the New Jersey Buckets finished a perfect 6-0 and Prime Time stayed unbeaten on the women's side.

Men's Gold Division — Week 5 (Sun, Jul 19)

Blog images-Jul-25-2026-03-53-53-5252-PMThe Turnover Bakery 62, Misfits 42. The Bakery jumped ahead 31-20 at the half and never let the Misfits back in. Player of the Game Isaiah Honis stuffed the sheet with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Billy Anderson added 13 and 8 boards. Ray Zamloot did all he could for the Misfits — 20 points and four threes — but Turnover's defense was too much. The Bakery moves to 3-1 and into a share of first.

Scari McDonalds 75, Mudita Rec 70. A back-and-forth battle Scari closed out behind a two-headed monster. Co-Players of the Game Jakari Spence (a game-high 30 points, three triples) and Larry Smith (25 points, five assists) combined for 55 to carry Scari home. Mudita got 17 and six dimes from Daryl Banks III and 15 from Josiah King but couldn't get the last stop. Scari climbs to 3-2.

Club Passion 84, PTR 77. The upset of the day. Club Passion cooked up its biggest win of the summer behind Player of the Game Akrum Ahemed, who went for 29 points, 12 rebounds and six three-pointers. PTR punched back with Michael Isaac (21), Justin Morton (20, four threes) and Phil Brown (16 points, six assists), but Club Passion held on for the seven-point statement.

Flint Tropics def. RU (forfeit, 20-0). RU couldn't field a full squad, so the Tropics took a 20-0 forfeit win into the books, improving to 3-2.

Women's Division — Week 5 (Sun, Jul 19)

Troublemakers 68, Willy P 40. Briana Lee was unstoppable, dropping a season-best 39 points with 11 rebounds and four steals — the top single-game scoring night by any woman in the division this summer. Faith Ashby added a quiet 12-and-11 double-double as the Troublemakers cruised to 4-1.

Prime Time 61, Lords of the Rim 49. The last unbeaten in the women's bracket kept rolling. Player of the Game Alyssa McDonough stuffed it with 17 points, 14 rebounds and four triples, while Shaniece Wright added 18 points, 11 boards and three blocks. Mel Daley's 18 led the Lords, but Prime Time clamped down after halftime to move to 5-0.

Lady Lions 70, Splash Sisters 58. The Lions found their claws behind Player of the Game Cassidy Brown (15 points, five threes, five assists) and a beastly night on the glass from Brooke McFadden, who grabbed 17 rebounds to go with 14 points. Brianna Thomas (17) and Brittany Baker (14 and 9 boards) kept Splash close, but the Lions pulled away late to reach 3-2.

Ballsohard 55, SheHoop 39. Defense carried the night. Player of the Game Mahogany Jenkins anchored a 12-rebound, 10-point effort, and Ballsohard held SheHoop to 39. Asia Rivera kept SheHoop ticking with 17 points and five threes in the loss. Ballsohard evens up at 2-2.

Men's Silver Division — Week 6 (Wed, Jul 22) — Regular-Season Finale

Fast Break 92, 732ers 82. Jordan Summers went nuclear for a season-high 51 points, burying eight three-pointers and adding eight rebounds in the highest-scoring individual performance of the summer. The 732ers refused to fold — Louis Crozier went for 25 and 15, Rob Bynes added 20, and Julius Nadarajah stuffed a 14-10-7 line — but there was no catching Summers. Fast Break locks up the No. 2 seed at 5-1.

Team Select 93, Pro Ballers 89. A track meet to the wire. Player of the Game Jared Pearson powered Team Select with 28 points and 11 rebounds, and Daishon Robinson added 17. Pro Ballers made it a shootout — Jackson Morrison (27 points, 9 boards, 5 assists), Donovan Nwenyi (18 points, six threes) and Andrew Martin (15-9-5) all went off — but Team Select made the winning plays to grab the No. 3 seed.

New Jersey Buckets 68, Beach Boyz 65. Perfect to the finish. The Buckets survived one more nail-biter to close the regular season a spotless 6-0, powered by Player of the Game Kadian Dawkins (18 points, 11 rebounds). Sincere Williams added a two-way 15-7-3-steal-2-block line. The Beach Boyz nearly played spoiler behind Sammy Cruz Jr.'s 13-and-13 double-double and 15 apiece from Jon Flete and Keshawn Peterson, but the Buckets found a way — again — to lock up the No. 1 seed.
