Showtime Sports NJ Returns: The Comeback Season Begins April 2025!

After a brief hiatus, Showtime Sports NJ is back! We’re thrilled to return this April, bringing both our Men's Gold Division and Women's Division to RVCC and Rutgers Prep. It’s been too long since we last tipped off, and we can’t wait to see our players, fans, and community back on the court!

📅Men’s Gold Division – Sundays at Raritan Valley Community College, starting April 16th

📅 Women’s Division – Monday nights at Rutgers Prep, beginning April 14th

Building Momentum: Our Summer Expansion

While we took a break from our traditional seasons, we didn’t slow down. Last summer, we launched two new leagues, expanding our reach and providing even more opportunities for athletes to showcase their skills. We were fortunate enough to be welcomed to the City of Elizabeth to host our league at the Erxleben Recreation Center. 

🏀 New Women’s League: Featured top-tier college teams, including Union College, Fairleigh Dickinson, and Kean University as well as some other great women's teams. Thursday night's we're filled with talent!

🏀 New Men’s League: Welcomed elite teams like the Saint Elizabeth Eagles and the Union College Owls Men’s Team with other teams consisting of D2, D3, and professional athletes. 

A Summer of Champions

Before pressing pause, we wrapped up an incredible summer season by crowning four champions across our leagues:

Union College Owls wins the first Weekday Night Summer League! 

Team Select Win's back-2-back Summer Leagues Championships!

Avengers win's their first Summer League Championship!

Team Get Right! Win's the the Tuesday Night Men's Gold Division Championship. 

🏆 Sunday Women’s League Champions: The Avengers
After coming up short in previous seasons, the Avengers finally secured their first Showtime title, taking down the defending champions, Splash Sisters, in an intense battle.

🏆 Sunday Men’s Gold Division Champions: Team Select
A true dynasty in the making, Team Select continued their reign, capturing their second straight summer title by defeating a tough 3 the Hard Way squad.

🏆 Weekday Women’s League Champions: Union College Owls
Dominating the competition, the Union College Owls made their mark as the inaugural weekday league champions and finished the season 7-1. 

🏆 Weekday Men’s League Champions: Team Get Right
In a highly competitive division, Team Get Right proved they were the best of the best, securing the championship in their first season. This squad was loaded with talent.
